wednesday september 23 ♡ 6-8 pm
come spend a cozy afternoon learning the basics of embroidery and adding a little handmade detail to something of your own <3
in this workshop, we’ll go over all of the foundational embroidery stitches and techniques, from threading your needle and working with an embroidery hoop to creating different textures and details with your stitches.
you’re encouraged to bring something from home that you’d like to embroider! a favorite shirt, tote bag, denim piece, or anything else you have lying around that could use some sprucing up that you’d like to personalize. if you don’t have something in mind, no worries! you can practice on provided fabric and create your own little art piece in the studio.
after learning the basic stitches, we’ll put them into practice with a fun embroidery design that you can follow along with and make your own.
this class is completely beginner-friendly and no prior embroidery experience is needed. all materials are provided, and you’ll leave with new skills you can continue using on clothes, textiles, and projects at home.
come learn a slow, meditative craft and make something cute along the way ♡
thrift flip mornings! ♡
saturday september 19 | 11 am–1 pm
have something in your closet that you love but never wear? bring it to the studio and give it a second life ~
thrift flip morning is a relaxed, creative sewing workshop all about transforming something you already own into something new. bring in a thrifted piece, an old item from your closet, or something that has been sitting around waiting for a little inspiration, and spend the morning experimenting with how you can make it feel like you again.
you can alter the fit, crop it, add patches or embellishments, combine fabrics, or completely change the direction of the piece. i’ll be there to help you brainstorm ideas and offer guidance with your project, but this is meant to be a more open-ended workshop where everyone can work on something different.
this class is best for anyone who already feels comfortable using a sewing machine, whether you’ve taken intro to sewing at the studio or have some basic experience.
bring something you’re ready to experiment with, and come spend a slow saturday morning sewing, creating, and giving an old piece a new life ♡

we’ll have a selection of teas to enjoy throughout the afternoon as we settle into a calm, cozy painting session focused on slowing down and giving yourself a few hours to just be creative.
this class is designed for both beginners as well as those who are already familiar with the basics of watercolor and are ready to take their paintings a step further. we’ll focus on techniques like shading, layering, and building depth to help you create more realistic and dimensional work.
rather than rushing through a project, this workshop is about taking your time, paying attention to the little details, and enjoying the process. think of it as a peaceful afternoon to practice, experiment, sip something warm, and get completely absorbed in painting.
