This class is designed as your introduction to sewing from the ground up.
You’ll learn how to confidently use a sewing machine, including threading, bobbin winding, and understanding basic machine control. From there, we’ll move into simple stitching exercises that help you develop comfort with fabric, speed, and direction.
The focus of this level is familiarity with processes: Learning how the machine feels, how fabric responds, and how you begin to use both easily.
You’ll be able to complete a small finished project if you decide to take only this class. If you decide to attend more in the sewing series, you will be able to complete a more complex project by building on it each time! (such as a piece of clothing or more structured item)

These classes are perfect if you’ve already attended an intro to sewing workshop and feel confident on the machine, or whether you already have your own sewing experience and want to make one of these projects using the materials we have at the studio!
Monday June 15 | 6–8 PM
In this sewing workshop, you’ll create your own custom cloth laptop sleeve from start to finish using thoughtfully selected fabrics from the studio collection. Designed for beginners and intermediate sewists alike, this class is the perfect introduction to functional sewing projects while creating something both beautiful and practical for everyday use.
You’ll learn foundational garment construction techniques including measuring, cutting fabric, sewing clean seams, adding structure and padding, and assembling a fully lined sleeve customized to fit your laptop. Participants will be able to choose from a curated selection of fabrics and details to create a piece that reflects their personal style.
This workshop is perfect for anyone wanting to build confidence on the sewing machine while making a handcrafted item you’ll actually use daily.

Saturday June 27 | 3-5 PM
In this intermediate sewing workshop, you’ll create your own pair of yoga pants from start to finish using high quality cotton blend stretch fabrics from the studio collection. Participants should already have a handle on basic sewing skills and know how to use a sewing machine independently.
You’ll learn how to work with stretch fabric, assemble wearable garments, and create a pair of yoga pants customized to your fit and style. This workshop is perfect for those wanting to build confidence in garment sewing while creating something comfortable, functional, and uniquely their own.
If you’ve never sewn before but would still love to take this workshop, we recommend joining an Intro to Sewing class first. After that, you’ll be ready for this intermediate-level project.

Celebrate the Solstice at Golden Spiral
Celebrate the Summer Solstice with an intimate evening of floral design led by Hunter of Dollhouse Floral,a thoughtfully curated workshop inspired by the abundance, beauty, and warmth of the season. Guests will learn the art of arranging seasonal blooms while creating their own elegant bouquet in a delicate bud vase arrangement, and will take home a reusable cloth bouquet bag, to continue your floral journey at home.
Throughout the evening, enjoy floral-inspired drinks and a dreamy studio atmosphere designed to celebrate creativity, connection, and the energy of the solstice. Spend your Friday evening reconnecting with your creative self in a quiet, guided space designed for slowing down and tuning in.
This Painting + Meditation workshop is an invitation to move beyond overthinking and into a more intuitive rhythm through meditation and watercolor. We’ll begin with a grounding meditation to settle the mind and body, then transition into a guided flow state painting practice. Through gentle prompts and techniques, you’ll explore color, movement, and free expression, allowing your thoughts to soften and your creativity to emerge more naturally.
You’ll leave with a finished watercolor painting, along with practices you can revisit whenever you want to access this state again.

You’ll begin by crafting your leather cover, with the option to emboss and personalize it, and then build out the interior using a provided insert, along with a curated selection of collage materials to layer, decorate, and shape the feeling of your pages.
You can create a full-sized journal for your own everyday use, or a smaller version that can be gifted. (or both!)
You’ll also receive a cute card with journal prompts done for you to take home, offering a starting point for reflection and helping you continue your journaling practice beyond the studio.

Pricing varies depending on the workshop or experience, based on materials, length, and structure. Each listing includes clear pricing upfront, so there are no surprises. Some workshops are one-time experiences, while others are part of a series designed for deeper exploration.

Workshops are, supportive, and hands-on. We guide you through each process step-by-step, while still giving you space to explore your own style and creativity. The goal is always the same: to help you slow down, make something meaningful, and leave feeling more connected to your creative self.

Cancellations made 7 days or more before your scheduled workshop are eligible for a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before your scheduled workshop are not eligible for a refund, but you will receive a studio credit equal to the amount paid, which can be applied toward a future workshop.
Studio credits must be used toward another workshop and are non-transferable.
