Hi Newsletter Peeps!
More dates for May (just for you) below!
These classes are designed to give you a solid foundation in sewing in a really approachable, supportive way. they’re beginner-friendly and perfect whether you’ve never touched a machine or just want to feel more confident using one.
you’ll learn the essentials—how to properly set up and use a sewing machine, basic stitches, and foundational techniques you can build on—while also completing a small project during class so you can immediately apply what you’re learning.
you’ll leave not only with something you made, but with the knowledge and confidence to keep creating on your own.
These will be available to you guys only until Monday May 3 when I will publish them live to the website
Sunday May 17, from 12 PM - 1:30 PM
This class is designed as your introduction to sewing from the ground up.
You’ll learn how to confidently use a sewing machine, including threading, bobbin winding, and understanding basic machine control. From there, we’ll move into simple stitching exercises that help you develop comfort with fabric, speed, and direction.
The focus of this level is familiarity with processes: Learning how the machine feels, how fabric responds, and how you begin to use both easily.
You’ll be able to complete a small finished project if you decide to take only this class. If you decide to attend more in this series, you will be able to complete a more complex project such as a piece of clothing or structured garment work.
If you only take this class, you will make a simple beginner project such as a set of cloth napkins or a curtain panel that focuses on clean construction and repetition.
You’ll leave with:
A completed beginner project
Foundational machine sewing skills
Confidence to move into further sewing classes or continue independently
studio address + directions will be sent via email after booking.
our studio is located in golden hill, san diego.
when booking, make sure you use an email you can access, as all correspondence from the studio will go to that email.

Painting + Meditation Workshops
these workshops are such a special blend of introspection and creativity. we start with a guided meditation, then move into an intuitive watercolor painting practice. you’ll leave with a beautiful painting, but more importantly you’ll learn how to tap into that calm, creative state whenever you want 🤍
Friday, May 22 | 6–7:30 PM
Spend your Friday evening reconnecting with your creative self in a quiet, guided space designed for slowing down and tuning in.
This Painting + Meditation workshop is an invitation to move beyond overthinking and into a more intuitive rhythm through meditation and watercolor. We’ll begin with a grounding meditation to settle the mind and body, then transition into a guided flow state painting practice. Through gentle prompts and techniques, you’ll explore color, movement, and free expression, allowing your thoughts to soften and your creativity to emerge more naturally.
You’ll leave with a finished watercolor painting, along with practices you can revisit whenever you want to access this state again.
