This class is designed for those who are comfortable using a sewing machine and are ready to build on their foundational skills.
In this intermediate sewing workshop, you'll create a fully lined quilted makeup bag while learning techniques commonly used in garment and accessory construction. We'll cover working with quilted fabrics, installing a zipper, sewing curved and structured seams, and assembling a polished finished project.
The focus of this class is expanding your sewing confidence through practical techniques that can be applied to future projects. You'll gain experience working with multiple layers of fabric and learn how to achieve clean, professional-looking finishes.
You'll leave with:
A completed quilted makeup bag
Experience installing a zipper
An understanding of working with quilted and layered fabrics
Increased confidence tackling more advanced sewing projects
This workshop is best suited for students who have completed Intro to Sewing or have basic sewing machine experience.
