This workshop is designed for students who have taken Intro to Sewing or have equivalent sewing experience. You should already feel comfortable threading a sewing machine, winding and inserting a bobbin, sewing basic seams, and troubleshooting simple machine issues.
This is not a beginner sewing class. We’ll focus on swimwear-specific techniques, so a basic understanding of sewing and machine operation is required. If you’ve taken Intro to Sewing you should be fine!
PATTERN & FABRIC SELECTION
After booking, you’ll receive an email from Katie, founder of Golden Spiral Studio, with five bikini styles to choose from, along with available fabric options. You’ll select your preferred style and fabric before the workshop so we can prepare your materials in advance.
STUDIO LOCATION & DIRECTIONS
Our studio is located in Golden Hill, San Diego. Your studio address and directions will be emailed to you after booking.
