Quilted Makeup Bag Sewing ♡
Ready for your next sewing project? If you’ve taken Intro to Sewing or already feel comfortable using a sewing machine, this workshop is a fun way to build on your skills and create something beautiful and practical.
You’ll make your own fully lined, quilted makeup bag while learning new techniques along the way. We’ll work with quilted and layered fabrics, practice installing a zipper, sew curved and structured seams, and bring all the pieces together into a finished bag you can use every day or give as a thoughtful handmade gift.
This project is a great next step if you’re ready to move beyond the basics and try something a little more involved in a relaxed, supportive setting. You’ll get to choose from a selection of fabrics and make a bag that feels personal to you.
EXPERIENCE NEEDED
This workshop is beginner-friendly for an intermediate sewing project. It’s best suited for anyone who has completed Intro to Sewing or already feels comfortable using a sewing machine.
We won’t be covering the basics of machine operation, so you should know how to thread your machine, wind and insert a bobbin, and sew a basic seam before attending.
All materials are provided, including fabric and the supplies needed to complete your makeup bag.
