Patchwork Curtains Workshop ♡
I’ve fallen in love with Japanese-style patchwork curtains and wanted to share that inspiration through a workshop of our own. These beautiful, fabric-based designs bring together different colors, patterns, and textures to create something that feels both functional and artistic.
In this hands-on sewing workshop, you’ll design and piece together your own patchwork curtain using a curated selection of fabrics. You’ll explore how different prints and colors work together, learn how to assemble your fabric pieces, and create something unique to bring into your home.
Inspired by the beauty of Japanese textile traditions and the thoughtful practice of making something by hand, this class is an invitation to slow down, play with fabric, and create something that makes your space feel a little more personal.
Whether you’re drawn to soft neutrals, playful prints, or a mix of contrasting textures, you’ll have the freedom to make your curtain your own.

EXPERIENCE NEEDED
This workshop is best suited for students who have taken Intro to Sewing or already feel comfortable using a sewing machine. You should know how to thread your machine, wind and insert a bobbin, and sew basic seams.
All materials are provided. No two curtains will be exactly alike, and that’s part of the fun.
STUDIO LOCATION & DIRECTIONS
Our studio is located in Golden Hill, San Diego. Your studio address and directions will be emailed to you after booking.
